\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n Matthew chapter 12<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n Scripture:<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n Today I will summarize Matthew chapter 12 where Jesus answered questions about the Sabbath and Exorcisms and where Jesus talked about what is in a person\u2019s heart.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus and his disciples were walking through the cornfields on the Sabbath and they picked some wheat and started to eat it as they were hungry.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>As usual, the Pharisees were keeping a watch on Jesus.\u00a0 <\/span>They said you and your disciples are breaking the rules of the Sabbath.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus answered them don\u2019t you remember the scripture about how David and his companions ate the Holy bread when they were hungry when that was not permitted?\u00a0 <\/span>Even though it was against the law.\u00a0 <\/span>Don\u2019t you remember the law of Moses that every Sabbath the priest in the temple actually breaks the Sabbath law and is yet not guilty? I tell you something greater than the temple is here. If you understood the scriptures, you would understand when I say I desire compassion and not a sacrifice; instead, you condemn the innocent.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>I am Lord of the Sabbath.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus walked into a synagogue.\u00a0 <\/span>He saw a man who had a paralyzed hand.\u00a0 <\/span>The Pharisees wanted to accuse Jesus of doing wrong. They followed Jesus and questioned him if it was lawful to heal on the Sabbath.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus answered if one of you has a lamb and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath would you just look at it suffer instead of helping it.? No, you would not. In my eyes, a man is much more valuable than a sheep.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Then, Jesus healed the man\u2019s hand.\u00a0 <\/span>The Pharisees were shocked at Jesus\u2019 authority and gathered together and started a conspiracy against him.\u00a0 <\/span>They were plotting to set a trap and kill him. <\/span><\/p>\n Large crowds followed him and he healed all those who were ill and gave them instructions not to tell others about him. He did not do it to be self-praised but wanted to tell the people how much God the father Loved them and want to set them free from Satan\u2019s slavery and lead a happy and abundant life of blessings. This was all done and said so that the prophet Isaiah\u2019s prophecy would come true.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cHe is my servant, whom I have chosen. The one whom I love, and with whom I am pleased.\u00a0 <\/span>I will send my spirit upon him, and he will announce my judgment to the nations. He will not argue or shout or make loud speeches in the streets.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n He will not break off a bent reed, or put out a flickering lamp.\u00a0 <\/span>He will persist until he causes justice to triumph, and in him, all people will put their hope\u201d.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>A little while later a demon-possessed man was brought to Jesus.\u00a0 <\/span>The demon was preventing the man from seeing and speaking.\u00a0 <\/span>When Jesus cast out the demon the man began speaking and could see but the Pharisees were not pleased about this either.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>They started biasing and yelling at the crowd saying this man cast out demons because Satan is living inside of him.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus answered them if Satan is casting out demons his kingdom is divided and it cannot stand.\u00a0 <\/span>I cast out demons by the Spirit of God.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus continued anyone who is not with me is against me.\u00a0 <\/span>Whoever does not gather with me scatters. You can still be forgiven if you blaspheme and sin against me.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n I will forgive you if you turn from your sins and turn to me.\u00a0 <\/span>I warn you whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit and speaks blasphemy against him will not be forgiven now or ever. \u00a0<\/span>Every single person who lives or has ever lived will be accountable for every single careless work they have ever spoken.\u00a0 <\/span>The mouth speaks what the heart is full of. \u00a0<\/span>If a person\u2019s heart and soul are filled with evil, they will speak evil words.\u00a0 <\/span>If a person\u2019s heart and soul are good, they will speak good words.\u00a0 <\/span>Your words will be used to judge you to declare you either innocent or guilty. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>When the Pharisees heard Jesus speak, they were annoyed. They said teacher we want you to give us a sign from heaven that you are the Messiah that has come into the world.\u00a0 <\/span>We want you to prove who you say you are. \u00a0<\/span>These miracles of healing and raising people from the dead are not sufficient or convincing for us.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus said how wicked and godless are the people of this day!\u00a0 <\/span>You crave a sign after seeing so many miracles.\u00a0 <\/span>I will give you only one sign which is the sign of Jonah.\u00a0 <\/span>Just like Jonah was in the belly of the sea monster for three days and three nights.\u00a0 <\/span>I will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.\u00a0 <\/span>He said when an evil spirit leaves a person\u2019s body it travels to find another host.\u00a0 <\/span>But If the person who is healed doesn\u2019t turn from his\/her evil ways and does not pray daily the evil spirit who left the body goes and brings along seven other spirits worse than itself to torment.\u00a0 <\/span>Once healed we should try our level best not t sin again and pray daily without fail for God\u2019s protection.\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus concluded whoever does what my father in heaven wants him to do is my brother and sister and my mother.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Observation:<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n Jesus in the roundabout way said that he was going to be killed, buried, and then raised from the dead.\u00a0 <\/span>That would be their sign.\u00a0 <\/span>This is our sign today that Jesus died on the cross for you and me.\u00a0 <\/span>The kingdom of heaven is at hand and we should repent as soon as possible from our evil ways before the rapture.\u00a0 <\/span>God wants us to see that Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath and has the authority to deem something legal or not.\u00a0 <\/span>God revealed to us that there is a sin that will not be forgiven ever.\u00a0 <\/span>That sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 <\/span>Did you keep asking for proof that Jesus Christ is God?\u00a0 <\/span>Jesus is offering you proof of his resurrection as a sign.\u00a0 <\/span>Why don\u2019t you look at all the evidence and then surrender your soul to God today since there is nothing more important in life than this and since no one is guaranteed their next breadth?\u00a0 <\/span>Why don\u2019t you put a priority on figuring this out?\u00a0 <\/span>Repent for your sin and turn for your salvation before you realize it\u2019s too late. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Prayer:<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n Lord Jesus Christ, by your patience in suffering you hallowed earthly pain and gave us an example of obedience to your father\u2019s will. Be near me in time of weakness and pain; sustain me by your grace, that my strength and courage might not fail; heal me according to your will; Abba father I know that the first step in all spiritual healing is to believe. \u00a0<\/span>Come now all my brothers and sisters and with confidence and without any doubt confess with our mouths and proclaim Jesus Christ is Lord and receive Gods healing and miracle in our lives<\/u>.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>I Believe! I open my mind and heart believing in your infinite power and possibility.\u00a0 <\/span>I believe that healing is a dynamic and reachable experience right now.\u00a0 <\/span>I maintain a patient and loving attitude, for I believe that your healing activity is now at work in my mind and body.\u00a0 <\/span>I look forward, with joyful expectation, to the perfect wholeness that you are now bringing into manifestation through me.\u00a0 <\/span>I believe in your constant expression of perfect good in and through me.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>I rest in the certainty of your healing power.\u00a0 <\/span>I know that with you all things are possible in Jesus Christ\u2019s name I pray.\u00a0 <\/span>Amen.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n Note<\/span><\/u><\/b>: <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n You can even say this prayer over anyone who is ill.\u00a0 <\/span>Over your loved ones, family, and friends.\u00a0 <\/span>But remember first one must repent truly and ask for forgiveness.\u00a0 <\/span>Secondly, you too must forgive others if you have anything against anyone. \u00a0<\/span>It is written first\u201d Go and make peace with your brother and sister and then come and offer your gifts to the alter.\u201d If you want to be forgiven you have to forgive others first so that you can be free from satanic bondages and receive God\u2019s blessing. God is Holy.\u00a0 <\/span>He cannot stay where it is evil. <\/b><\/u>Thirdly without any doubt and with confidence lay your hands on yourself or anyone and repeat this prayer and believe what you have asked in the prayer you have received.\u00a0 <\/span>God looks at your heart and you can only please God with faith.\u00a0 <\/span>Follow these steps and receive your miracle.\u00a0 <\/span>May the peace and the love of God be with all my brothers and sisters always.
