            Psalms chapter 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Why do the nations conspire and the people plot in vain?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The kings of the earth rise and the rulers band together<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Against the Lord and His anointed, saying,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \u201cLet us break their chains and throw off their shackles.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The one enthroned in heaven laughs; The Lord scoffs at them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \u201cI have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            I will proclaim the Lord\u2019s decree: He said to me,\u201d You are my son;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Today I have become your father.  Ask me, and I will make the<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            For his wrath can flare up in a moment.   Blessed are all who take refuge in him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm Chapter 2<\/strong> presents a dynamic and compelling portrayal of the relationship between humanity and the Divine Creator, using definitive imagery and symbolism.  It can be understood as an exploration of the Creator\u2019s sovereignty and humanity\u2019s response to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Psalm begins with a scene of rebellion, as earthly rulers and nations gather together, challenging the authority of the creator and plotting against the Great creator\u2019s chosen one, often interpreted as a Messianic figure (Anointed Son\u2014the Christ)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This rebellion symbolizes the human inclination to resist divine guidance and assert independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to this defiance, the creator is depicted as sitting in the heavens, undisturbed and unthreatened by human actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Great Spirit\u2019s laughter conveys a sense of divine amusement at the futility of human attempts to challenge the ultimate authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Creator then speaks, affirming the chosen one\u2019s status and authority, appointing him as a ruler to carry out divine purposes on Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This appointment highlights The Creator\u2019s divine plan and the importance of aligning with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latter part of the Psalm issues a call to earthly rulers and leaders.  The call urged them to submit to the Creator\u2019s authority and serve with reverence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Creator\u2019s wrath, if provoked, is a warning against continued rebellion and a reminder of the consequences of resisting divine guidance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In essence, <\/strong>Psalm 2 <\/strong>emphasizes the Creator\u2019s supreme authority.   And the importance of acknowledging and aligning with divine wisdom and purpose.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It serves as a call to all of humankind, especially those in positions of power.   It calls them to recognize the sovereignty of the Great Spirit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And to govern in harmony with divine principles for the well-being of all.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GLORY TO THE GREAT CREATOR AND HIS ANOINTED.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRAYER OF SURRENDER<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord Almighty,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I come before you with a heart open and ready to receive your will.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I surrender my heart to you, lord, desiring to follow you in every step.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guide every move I make, let your will be done in my life.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In decisions big and small, I seek your wisdom and guidance.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help me to trust in your plans, even when the path is unclear.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

May my heart always align with your desires and purposes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shape my life into a reflection of your love and grace.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In every moment, I choose to follow you and give you glory.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Jesus\u2019s name, I pray <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
