{"id":479,"date":"2023-04-26T17:10:31","date_gmt":"2023-04-26T17:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bibleholyghost.com\/?p=479"},"modified":"2023-04-26T17:10:51","modified_gmt":"2023-04-26T17:10:51","slug":"the-areas-of-your-life-satan-wants-to-enter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bibleholyghost.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/26\/the-areas-of-your-life-satan-wants-to-enter\/","title":{"rendered":"The Areas Of Your Life Satan Wants To Enter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Satan hates you, and all of humanity, because we bear the image of God.&nbsp; Our very existence is an unending reminder that God is everywhere and that we are part of God\u2019s winning strategy to destroy Satan.&nbsp; That is why he attacks Christians so violently \u2013because if he can get you to stop fighting, his job is much easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the things Satan will go after in battle is your identity in Christ.&nbsp; He wants to convince us that we are something apart from what God created us to be or disconnect us from God by getting us to doubt that he is who he says he is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are not a victim unless you choose to be.&nbsp; Satan will lie to you to convince you you\u2019ve lost, and that it\u2019s over, but if you will use the word of God as a sword, and continue on the fight without giving up, it\u2019s not over until God says it\u2019s over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" src=\"https:\/\/bibleholyghost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/17.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-473\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bibleholyghost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/17.jpg 275w, https:\/\/bibleholyghost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/17-150x100.webp 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 275px) 100vw, 275px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Satan likes people to think that he he\u2019s a great mystery and that he can keep us on our toes by stirring up fear and doubt.&nbsp; Fear that maybe he is all-powerful.&nbsp; Doubt that God can\u2019t defeat him.&nbsp; But remember he is a liar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Some of the main areas of your life Satan wants to enter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Your heart &#8212;- so it\u2019s not God\u2019s alone<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a reason God\u2019s word tells us \u201c<em>Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it<strong>.<\/strong><\/em><strong>&nbsp; Proverb 4:23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Satan knows he has an entry point into our lives if God is not first in our hearts.&nbsp; Satan\u2019s greatest desire is to prevent you from giving God all of your heart so he will constantly dangle people, things, and desires in front of you &#8212;- anything to distract you so he can erect a false God in front of you that you don\u2019t even realize you have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bibleholyghost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/10-jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-468\" width=\"504\" height=\"377\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bibleholyghost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/10-jpg.webp 259w, https:\/\/bibleholyghost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/10-150x112.webp 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Do you love God more than you love anything (or anyone) else in life<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Be careful.&nbsp; He will try to lure you with a false God like your career, a spouse, or love interest, a dream or goal, a hobby or lifestyle.&nbsp; I know many women whose first love is their bodies, so they spend more time in the gym working out than letting God work within.&nbsp; It\u2019s a subtle way of starting to love other things more than God.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of us love food, money, recreation, our children, a substance, or a \u201cfeeling\u201d (like being in love, or energetic) more than God, himself.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guard your heart by keeping Christ on the throne of your life so Satan doesn\u2019t try to sneak anything else in there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Your worries<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To make you doubt God\u2019s love and provision.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Satan wants you stressed because then you\u2019re not resting in God\u2019s ability to care for you.&nbsp; Women tend to stress over the temporal.&nbsp;&nbsp; Bills that must be paid, whether or not a man will come into our lives, if we\u2019ll be able to have a child, what someone is saying about us, how our body looks, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Men tend to stress about their jobs, providing for their families, and whether or not they are \u201cmaking the cut\u201d in several areas of life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then there are health concerns, fears about our aging parents, and other situations that can crowd out God\u2019s peace in our lives and even cause us to begin to blame God for our circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Are you living like God\u2019s love and provision are real?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t let Satan in this door through his tantalizing \u201cwhat if\u201d? questions and the doubts he weaves through your mind.&nbsp; God instructs us \u201cBe anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.&nbsp; And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and your minds in \u201cChrist Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keep praying about your concerns and keep thanking God ahead of time for what He\u2019s about to do, so Satan doesn\u2019t get a stronghold in your mind through your worries and fears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Your everyday thinking<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>So, you\u2019re just like the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s amazing how many people profess to know God and follow Him, yet their thinking patterns are just like those of anyone else in the world.&nbsp; Satan loves that.&nbsp; He wants you to be absorbed with the ways of the world so that you are clueless about what God\u2019s word says.&nbsp; He will do this through subtle messages in music lyrics, statements from your favorite celebrity, and words of advice from friends of yours who are believers but are quoting \u201cverses\u201d that are not in the bible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Is your everyday thinking different from the world?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scripture commands us: Don\u2019t copy the behavior and customs of this world but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think then you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will is.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, God\u2019s word instructs: \u201cFix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right.&nbsp; Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable.&nbsp; Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise and the God of peace will be with you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But Satan would rather have us in mental anguish by listening to the world, rather than the world of God.&nbsp; Guard your everyday thinking by soaking it in scripture.&nbsp; It\u2019s the only way to keep Satan and his worldly philosophies from entering in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Your speech<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>So, you tear others apart<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God wants us to be holy mouthpieces of him&#8212;- people who will heal and help with his words.&nbsp;&nbsp; But Satan would rather have you and me blowing it big time with our mouths.&nbsp; A few critical words here, a few complaints there, some profanity mixed in with a little gossip on the side and we have permitted him to make us people who tear others apart and sound no different (and sometimes worse) than unbelievers.&nbsp; Satan knows we can cause much damage with our mouths if we do not bring them under God\u2019s control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Are your words building up others?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether it is gossip, criticism, or unkind remarks, our mouths can be instruments of righteousness or unrighteousness.&nbsp; Close that door to Satan, altogether, by applying God\u2019s instructions in <strong>Ephesians 4:29<\/strong>. \u201cDo not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what helps build others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thessalonians 5:18<\/strong> tells us \u201cIn everything give thanks; for this is God\u2019s will for you in Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Be a verbally thankful person who speaks only to lift others, not tear them down.&nbsp; That will diminish and destroy a critical and complaining spirit that gives Satan a stronghold in our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Our bodies<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>So, they no longer glorify God<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why is it that when people get depressed, they overeat or drink excessively, or turn to substances?&nbsp;&nbsp; Why is it that young girls will cut their bodies or starve themselves when they are dealing with emotional pain?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I believe it\u2019s because Satan will turn us against our bodies if he can, as a way of \u201cgetting back at God.\u201d&nbsp; Our bodies are precious to God.&nbsp; Scripture commands us to \u201cGive your bodies to God.&nbsp; Let them be a living and holy sacrifice \u2013 the kind he will accept.&nbsp; When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Satan knows that God considers our bodies His temple and therefore God wants us to keep our bodies healthy and honoring to Him (<strong>1 Corinthians 6: 19-20<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scriptures say keeping our bodies holy is our \u201cspiritual act of worship.&nbsp;&nbsp; So, because our bodies are holy to God, Satan would love to have us harm them, mutilate them, masturbate, starve them, and destroy them with substances like drugs, alcohol, smoking, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t let him in.&nbsp; Not in how you dress.&nbsp; Not in how you see yourself.&nbsp; Not in how you treat yourself.&nbsp;&nbsp; Ask God for a healthy body image and a desire to protect your body so you can serve Him on this earth in it for as long as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s important while battling the enemy to speak strong words, God\u2019s word because he is not afraid of you, but he is afraid of God, who resides in you, and God who resides in You protects you.&nbsp; You are never alone.&nbsp; Hard times will come.&nbsp; Confusing times. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frustrating times, times of fear and despair.&nbsp; You can\u2019t control that, but you can control your response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God will fight for, in, and through you in the battle for his victory.&nbsp; If he promised life and health and peace and you\u2019re walking in the light with him.&nbsp; Then those promises are yours.&nbsp; He will help you grab hold of them.&nbsp; Don\u2019t give up because he hasn\u2019t given up on you.&nbsp;
