ALWAYS KEEP FIGHTING
NEVER GIVE UP
Part-4

The Bible strongly discourages giving up, emphasizing perseverance and faith in God’s promises. It highlights that perseverance, even in the face of hardships, leads to a harvest or reward in due time.
The Bible encourages believers to stand firm in their faith, knowing that God will provide strength and ultimately restore them.

GOD’S PROMISE OF RESTORATION AND STRENGTH
The Bible promises that God will restore believers and make them strong, firm, and steadfast. This encouragement is meant to sustain individuals through challenging times, reminding them that God is with them to persevere.
SHARING IN THE STRUGGLES WITH FELLOW BELIEVERS
The Bible emphasizes that believers are not alone in their struggles. Many other believers have faced similar hardships and have persevered, standing firm in their faith. This shared experience of suffering can be a source of encouragement, reminding individuals that they are part of a large community of facing similar trials.
SHORTNESS OF SUFFERINGS
The bible highlights that suffering is often temporary, not permanent. While challenges may seem overwhelming, they are not meant to be a defining aspect of one’s entire life.
The man who once sought to destroy the Church became one of its greatest builders. The setback of his past became the fuel for his mission. He endured beatings, shipwrecks and imprisonments. But each time God raise him again.
REAPING A HARVEST IN DUE SEASON
The Bible uses the metaphor of planting seeds and reaping a harvest to illustrate the importance of persistence.
It promises that those who do not give up but continue doing good will eventually see a return on their investment.
THE IMPORATNCE OF STANDING FIRM
The Bible encourages believers to “stand firm in the faith,” even when facing opposition or difficulties.
This call to stand firm is not meant to be taken lightly, as it emphasizes the importance of remain steadfast in one’s beliefs and resisting discouragement or doubt.
GOD’S FAIHFULLNESS AND PROMISES
The Bible emphasizes God’s faithfulness and the promises He has made to those who believe.
These promises provide a foundation for hope and encouragement, reminding believers that God will ultimately see them through their trials.
LOVE NEVER GIVES UP
The Bible portrays Love as a force that “Never gives up,” suggesting that it is a characteristic of God’s love for humanity.
This concept extends to the believer’s love for God and their fellow believers, urging them to persevere in their faith and support one another.
JESUS’S EXAMPLE
Jesus’s life and ministry, especially His willingness to face the cross, serve as an example for believers. His unwavering faith and surrender to God’s will in the face of suffering are a powerful reminder that giving up is not an option for those who follow Him.

WHY GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION
No option could stop him because he understood that every setback allowed God to demonstrate his power.
Setbacks are not signs of failure. They are the soil in which faith grows. They strip away reliance on human strength and force dependence on God.
They create testimonies that inspire others and prove that God is still in the business of turning things around.
The enemy may try to knock a person down, but those who trust in the Lord will always rise again. A delay is not a denial, and a loss is not the end of the story.
Those who refuse to give up, hold on to faith, who keep pressing forward despite adversity will see God turn their greatest setbacks into their most powerful comebacks.
Those who refuse to quit will always see God’s hand move in their lives. The greatest victories in history have always belonged to those who did not give up.
Those who held on to faith when everything seemed impossible. Those who pressed forward when the enemy tried to push them back.
The Road to breakthrough is never easy and the path to purpose is often marked with trials, delays and opposition.
But the difference between those, who see the promises of God fulfilled and those who don’t is simple.
Perseverance: No one who ever accomplished great things for God did so without facing obstacles.
Abraham waited for years for the son God had promised him. In the waiting there were moments of doubt, moments where the circumstances seemed to contradict what God had spoken.
Yet, he held on believing that the one who had made the promise was faithful. And because he refused to give up, he saw Isaac born in his old age proving that God always keeps His word.
Moses could have quit after Pharaoh rejected his requests to let go every time he stood before Pharoah demanding freedom for God’s people. The situation seemed to get worse.
The enemy did not let go easily and plague only hardened Pharoah’s heart further. But Moses did not turn back. He continued to stand firm and trust in the power of God.
And because he refused to quit, he witnessed the greatest deliverance in history as God parted the Red Sea and led his people to freedom.
Elijah stood on Mount Carmel challenging the prophets of Bal to a showdown of power.
The nation had turned to idol worship and Elijah was one man against hundreds. He prayed for fire from heaven and nothing happened at first.
He prayed again and still nothing, but he did not stop. He kept believing, kept trusting and on the third time the fire of God fell.
Consuming the alter and proving to all that the Lord was God. If he had given up after the first or second attempt, he would never have seen the miracle.
Job Lost everything. His health and his family. He had every reason to quit, every reason to turn his back on God. His friends told him to give up and his wife told him to curse God and die.
But he refused. He held on to faith even when he did not understand. And because he endured God restored him, blessing him with twice as much as he had before.
His story remains a testimony that those who refuse to quit will always see the faithfulness of God. Paul faced more opposition than most would ever endure.
He was beaten, imprisoned, shipwrecked and persecuted for preaching the gospel. There were moments where he was left for dead, moments where it seemed like his mission would never be fulfilled.
But he never quit. He kept preaching, writing and pressing forward no matter the cost because he refused to quit.
He planted churches across the known world, wrote letters that still impact millions today and fulfil the purpose God had placed on his life.
Jesus himself demonstrated the power of perseverance in the garden of Gethsemane. As He prayed in anguish knowing the suffering that lay ahead, he could have walked away.
He could have called for angels to rescue him but he didn’t. He endured the cross despising its shame because He saw the joy set before him because he refused to quit.

Salvation was made available to all mankind. His victory over death became the greatest triumph in history proving once and for all that nothing can stop the power of God.
Those who refuse to quit will always see God’s hand move in their lives. The enemy will try to discourage, delay and deceive. Perseverance is the key to breakthrough.
It is in the moments of greatest opposition that faith is tested and those who endure will see the fulfilment of every promise God has spoken.
The world gives up when things get hard but the people of God press on knowing that victory is not given to the strongest or the fastest but to those who simply refuse to quit.
PRAYER
Gracious father,
I come before you with a heart that has known the taste of sorrow.
In times when the things I cherish wither and fall away,
Help me to remember that You are the resurrection and the life.
I place my trust in You, knowing that even I am enveloped by the shadows of grief.
Your light remains unextinguished.
I surrender to Your will, to your timing, believing that You work all things for Your glory and my good.
Teach me to hold hope as tenderly as a flame in the wind, trusting that You are the restorer of joy, the redeemer of broken dreams.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I lay my prayers at Your feet.
Amen.
