Why God choose us?

Let’s see Christmas Story why do we celebrate.

Joseph was normal person and lived in tiny village and he was engaged with Mary.

When Mary spoke him, I am Pregnant, Joseph thought to left her.

Matthew 1:19

Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

So Joseph was upset that his wife is already pregnant and he decided to divorce her but very next of vers 24 it says- He did what the angel of Lord said to him.

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. ²¹ She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

We must do the same as Joseph did we must follow Lord and his will, We have to stop following our plans we need to follow Lord’s Plans, He knew God has big plan so he turned from his plan to divorce Mary,

We must be having our plans and God plans would be just different than our plans we must be not liking what does god want us to follow, but that is the best plan for us.

Jeremiah 29:11-I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Shepherd in my knowledge would be cheap in that time people eyes, same we can see now a days as well !

But God invited them when Jesus was born, Lord invited them.

Luke chapter 2-An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. ¹⁰ But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

They talked the power of Lord which they saw few time back, we must have joy of Christmas but that does not means to Go and dance/drunk/ to celebrate Christmas we must pray and honour Lord as Angels did same day of Jesus born,

There is no other way to reach to heaven except Jesus. We must celebrate with Angels that Precious day. You would get chance to celebrate his birthday one day when you would be in heaven, so we must celebrate his birthday in Good manner.

• Help Others Poor
• Give food to poor
• Share Good News
• Pray the Lord
• Spread Happiness

Focus on Lord and forgive all your enemies ask them to celebrate Jesus Birthday, This will make your Festival awesome,

Mary was pregnant and she was not ashamed.  But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

She thought in God plan and co-operated and she accepted what God Angel said to her, She kept remembering the same words God spoke about her, She was meditating what God said she left everything behind and never care about the people what would they spoke, She trusted the Lord and Lord made her the mother of Jesus.

What do u do in your life Do you meditate on God word or world, If you want to be blessed you must meditated on God’s word as Bible says,

James-1:25-But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

You would be blessed in what you do if you want blessing all over the life so you must meditate on bible verses every day and God will blessed you in everything you do,

Joshua 1:8-Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 

We would be prospered and successful in every word every day, once we read and meditate on this this book will start the uttering the word of God, this book is alive because this is written by God breathed,

2^nd Timothy 3:16-17-All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, ¹⁷ so that the servant of God–may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

If you want to talk to lord you must meditate on God word (Bible)

Mary was vessel and she was only flesh and Blood and God honored her but it does not mean we have to pray to her.

Matthew 2:11-On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. 

Mary and Joseph were there with kid Jesus but they only bowed down and worshiped him only.

I believe worship the Lord Jesus is wise thing, if we worship him and follow him we are wise in God eyes may be fool in world eyes but see Lord said you are not fool if you know me, we can know lord if we know Jesus.

Jeremiah 4:22- My people are foolish and do not know me,” says the LORD. “They are stupid children who have no understanding. 

John 14:20-When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

What did we learn: –

• We must meditate in Lord’s word
• We must read bible everyday
• We must pray to Lord in Jesus name
• We are forgiven
• Present is best
• Future would be awesome
• God’s plan must be done
• We must co-operated with Lord in his all plans.
